Autumn... Is that you I see?

             Autumn is my favorite time of the year. The changing of the leaves is wonderful to watch, and the cooler weather is a great welcome after months of heat and humidity. Usually this time of year it is still really hot. This year though, it was really hot for a while, and now we seem to be getting some much needed relief. We still have a month to go before Autumn is officially here, but evidence of it's arrival are already starting to show. I came across these bright red leaves this morning. I was so excited that I had to share.

My ferns are looking very nice this year. Wish that they grew during the colder months. At least I will have this picture to remind me of them until Spring.
